Located in Newmarket, East Gwillimbury Ontario, York Region, Diana’s Daycare is in a quiet portion of the town with surrounding parks and plenty of nature for daily walks.

With the growing amount of young families requiring a daycare, Newmarket, Ontario proves to be a safe and promising town for your children to have a great education, with one of the best being Diana’s Daycare.

The daycare is run by Diana herself, certified as an ECE (Early Childhood Educator) and with almost 27 years of experience in educating young elementary students. At Diana’s Daycare, you can rest assured your child will be more than prepared for kindergarten when the time comes, in most cases leaving the daycare having learned numbers, colours, the alphabet, intermediate-level words among many more social and etiquette skills.

We offer programs for children from 18 months to early school age. Diana is extremely dedicated to developing and maintaining a high standard of quality care and education for your children.

We pride ourselves in offering programs that are inclusive of all children.

Building the power of strong minds and muscles

Preschoolers begin to learn early mathematical concepts. They have healthy outdoor activity by playing and dancing indoors. Learn to count, read, about the weather, nutritious foods.

They learn how to control their feelings and make friends at the same time.

Children in our class develop the skills to communicate their feelings and make new friends and how to avoid conflict.

They develop the ability to read and write

Children learn to read and write, by recognizing words, and through songs, children discover new and similar words.

Critical Thinking

They express their feelings through painting, music, and childhood gestures. We are always around them, helping them with the friendliest advice possible.

The education offered at Diana’s Daycare is inclusive in the price, and always consistent regardless if the child attending is part-time or full-time. The academic daily routine of each child’s day at Diana’s Daycare is playtime, activity time, and finally one-on-one learning time. During playtime, the child is given free rein of all the toys in the facility.

Diana believes this is an excellent time for the children to gain social skills as they interact with one another. During activity time, the children are brought together into a group setting to engage in educational activities such as storytime. Lastly, Diana spends an average of 30 minutes daily with each child separately to focus on developing numerical and alphabetical skills.

As the child progresses in development, Diana will increase the load of academic tutoring and spend time on points of weaknesses. She encourages daily repetition of new skills and activities taught at the daycare to prepare the child for kindergarten.

Diana’s Daycare has been run by her personally for over 27 years, with the majority of returning clients when it is time to introduce siblings to a daycare environment. All the children who leave Diana’s Daycare exceed immensely in the first two years of school (oftentimes junior and senior kindergarten), and can even see these early-brought skills persist into the first grade of school.
